Park Slope is a small neighborhood in Brooklyn, rich in history, diverse and ever changing. We hope our music is a reflection of our context. This collection of hymns is a testimony to the rich tradition of sacred music that has been recorded in the english language. Yet, like the 19th century rowhouses that line our streets, they are part of the life of our church - our voices inhabit them every week.

This album is a collaborative effort between the musicians of Park Slope Presbyterian Church (and a few guests). A generous donor from the congregation and the inspirational work of Reformed University Ministries to recover hymns from the past. We hope you enjoy this offering of praise and thanksgiving.
